Aluminium 5754 has excellent corrosion resistance especially to seawater and industrially polluted atmospheres. It has higher strength than 5251. This high strength makes 5754 highly suited to flooring applications.

| Mechanical properties are those specified by EN 1386:2007, Table 1, for alloy 5754 in H114 temper. EN 1386 is the standard for rolled products with a raised pattern — tread and chequered plate — and is the correct specification for this product; EN 485-2 covers flat sheet, strip and plate and does not list H114. Thickness is the nominal thickness, measured outside the raised pattern, so it corresponds to the base thickness in our size table. EN 1386 specifies no hardness value for this product, so none is quoted. Certificates to EN 10204-3.1 are available on request. | ||||
